Tentmaking in a Divided World

This twelve chapter series follows the early years of my life and the experiences that shaped it. It begins with childhood interests and the people who influenced me, and moves through the unexpected opportunities that later led to work in Eastern Europe, ministry behind the Iron Curtain, and the business ventures that grew alongside it.

At the time, I was not working toward a defined outcome. I was learning languages because they interested me. I was flying because I was drawn to aviation. I was studying history because I wanted to understand it better. The connections only became clear much later.

What follows is not a story of a planned path. It is an account of how small disciplines, steady mentorship, and a willingness to step through open doors shaped a life I could not have anticipated.
